ViaNett with customers in more than 40 countries!
ViaNett now has customers from more than 40 countries within the SMS product area. The total turnover shows 107 % growth in 2006 with a positive operating profit. At the same time ViaNett is reporting 90 % growth in turnover in the first quarter of 2007, which means a little over NOK 10.5 mill. The company has just increased its number of employees from 11 to 14. Now ViaNett is moving into new locations and investing in better communication solutions to handle further growth.

SMS is the force.
ViaNett has more than 160 customers in more than 40 countries within SMS distribution and development of SMS technology for clients. Content administration and ecommerce have not shown the same growth so far. ”The consequence is simple. We must put more resources into better products, sales and distribution," says CEO Lars Helland. ”We use the same systems ourselves to market and sell SMS, so we know that we have efficient solutions. We just need to improve them. Also we must be better to communicate with the client, put his or her needs in the center, and not just discuss technology.”
The key figures 2006.
ViaNett had a turnover in 2006 of NOK 29 181 332, compared to NOK 14 111 650 the year before. The growth was 107 %. The operating profit was NOK 84 215 compared to a minus of around NOK 1 mill in 2005.
The company was funded with new owners equity of NOK 1 800 000 in 2006, and now has an owners equity of NOK 3,6 mill and NOK 4 mill in cash. ”The growth in December gave us some extra costs, so the result should have been a little better”, says Helland. ”But first priority is the growth, and we are also proud that we now have almost 40 stock holders without any help from any market makers.”
Still solid growth in Q 1 2007.
ViaNett is announcing a growth of 90 % in first quarter 2007. Turnover was NOK 10 503 816 compared to NOK 5 515 109. The result before tax was NOK 114 892 compared to NOK 65 790 at the same time last year. ”Our budget shows a loss in first quarter, so we are very happy with the result,” says Helland. ”We were only 11 persons in the beginning of this year, and now we have to move to get more space. These things create a lot of planning and work. Soon we will be 14 people and if we are able to grow by 100 % with 30 % growth in people, the result should be good.”
